Work Style Assessment Tools
DISc Profile, Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, Workplace Kaleidoscope Profile
For many years, the DiSC Profile® (DiSC), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI),
and Workplace Kaleidoscope Profile® (WKP) have opened the door to understanding dynamics that influence communication and positive relationships at work. Key Benefits
The DiSc Profile® describes behavior based on how people view themselves in their various environments. It focuses on four behavioral dimensions including D: Dominance, i: Influence, S: Steadiness and C: Conscientiousness. The report summarizes tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses, and it compares the individual to the desired results. You can purchase the basic DiSC and you can add supplemental components for specific types of work (i.e. retail). The report provides detailed strategies for improvement. It provides a report for both the employee and the leader (how to best manage this type of person). You can also get a group profile, which can support your team building initiatives.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® describes how people approach the environment intellectually and attitudinally and how they process information. It explores the differences in how we are energized, the type of information we prefer to pay attention to, how we make decisions, and our preferred approach to life and work. Participants get a summary of the types and their impact on the workplace and work relationships.
Participants get a summary of the styles and apply this information to their work relationships and communication. It helps them to:
Develop self-awareness
Adapt to their work environment
Bridge communication gaps with others
Appreciate how others behave/communicate as they do
The Workplace Kaleidoscope Profile® identifies the needs and behaviors related to three distinct areas of working styles:
Sensory Styles— the senses favored for taking in and processing information.
Perceptual and Organizational Styles—the way information is perceived (the type of information we prefer to work with) and how we organize information in order to complete our work
Personality (Temperament) Styles—the values held about working and the general approach to life.
Participants get a summary of their preferences and apply this information to their work relationships and communication. It helps them to:
Develop self-awareness
Adapt their approach to meet work requirements
Bridge communication gaps with others
Work more effectively as part of a work team
